Kidist Bobosha

Kidist Bobosha, PhD, is an international collaborator for TRAC in the International CPS Core, as well as a Senior Scientist at the Armauer Hansen Research Institute in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Her research interests are focused on infectious diseases, specifically mycobacterial diseases including tuberculosis and leprosy, as well as research training. A major research focus of hers has been on immunodiagnostics research where she profiles and analyzes host immunological responses against mycobacterial antigens, searches for potential biomarkers, and develops field-friendly diagnostic tests. She has also served as MPI of the NIH FIC D43 grant entitled, “Ethiopia-Emory TB Research Training Program
