Kidist Bobosha

Kidist Bobosha, PhD is an international collaborator for TRAC in the International CPS Core, as well as a senior researcher at theArmauer Hansen Research Institute in Ethiopia. Her research interests are focused on infectious diseases, specifically mycobacterial diseases including tuberculosis and leprosy. A major research focus of hers has been on immunodiagnostics research where she profiles and analyzes host immunological responses against mycobacterial antigens, searches for potential biomarkers, and develops field-friendly diagnostic tests. She has also served as Associate Director of the Ethiopia-Emory TB Research Training program since 2018 and the co-investigator for the ongoing NIH NIAID-funded TBRUASTRa project.
